After the unforgettable memories from our last Igatpuri trip, we couldn’t resist going back - and this time, it was even better. With most of the same crew from our previous adventure, we set off once again for a weekend full of fun, food, and fresh air.

🚗 Getting There: Two Cars & Scenic Highways

We left our homes around 7:30 AM, traveling in two cars this time - a Tiber and a Breeza.
On the way, we took a breakfast halt at Sangrila Restaurant, where some hot chai and South Indian food kicked off the journey right.

We took the Samruddhi Mahamarg (Expressway) this time - a smooth, scenic highway with three long tunnels, including one that was nearly 8 km long! Driving through those winding stretches was an experience in itself.

🏨 Tropical Retreat Resort - A Hidden Gem

We reached our destination around 10:00 AM and checked into Tropical Retreat Resort - and let me tell you, it exceeded all expectations from the moment we arrived.

This resort isn’t just about relaxation - it’s a playground for adults and kids alike!

• Outdoor Activities: Turf cricket, archery, basketball, air cycling, badminton

• Indoor Fun: Snooker, carrom, foosball, and the popular Bullet Bottle Game

• Wellness: Fully-equipped gym, a relaxing spa, and two temperature-controlled swimming pools

• Clubhouse: Perfect for chill vibes with games and music

After a quick refresh, we jumped into a game of turf cricket and then got ready for lunch.

🍴 Food Highlights

As always, we headed to our favorite spot - Karizma Dhaba - for lunch.
The food was absolutely mouth-watering once again, with authentic flavors and generous servings.
So good, in fact, that we went back there again for dinner too! 😄

🌊 Pool & Chill

The evening was pool time. With the temperature-controlled pools and lush surroundings, it felt like a luxurious escape.
The laughter, games, and water splashes made for a perfect end to the day.

🍳 Morning & Checkout

The next morning, we enjoyed a delicious buffet breakfast at the resort itself (it was included in the package) - with everything from poha and idli to omelets and fresh juice.

We checked out around 10:00 AM, already talking about when we’ll be coming back.

📝 Final Thoughts

This second trip to Igatpuri was the perfect mix of adventure and relaxation, and the Tropical Retreat Resort truly took the experience up a notch.

Whether you're traveling with friends, family, or even for a team offsite, this place checks all the boxes - spacious, fun-filled, peaceful, and full of memories waiting to happen.
